My name is Dr. Patrick Miller, Head of School, and I want to welcome you to our school community. I am originally from the USA, and I have been working in American/international schools around the world for most of my professional career. I hold master’s degrees in International Education and in Business Administration, as well as a PhD in Leadership in Schools.
If you are a prospective or veteran family, current staff member or are interested in coming to work in our school, you will find that American Academy Casablanca is truly a very special place.
Starting with our mission to offer a distinctly unique American school experience, our school focuses on offering the highest quality, inquiry-based, student-centered programs. Our students find fulfillment by accomplishing personal and academic excellence, become multilingual global citizens that adapt and contribute in a rapidly changing world, and act on their values to positively impact those around them.
In short, at AAC, students learn differently.
Our Core Values infiltrate our daily interactions on campus and guide all decision making. As such, our school community thrives to demonstrate and live by the values of integrity, compassion, respect, responsibility, and excellence in all that we do.
After having worked in top American/international schools on three different continents, I can truly say that there are very few schools around the world with potential like AAC. Our beautiful purpose-built campus, which is the largest and one of the most modern in Africa, serves as a second home for our students and staff. It is a place where authentic learning takes place and where everyone belongs. As we move forward in the next phase of school growth and expansion, our plans include diversifying our accreditations to include the IB program, as well as further growing our student body, expanding our professional development programs to ensure our teachers are informed on the most modern teaching methodologies, expanding our athletic programs, and further strengthening our student life experience by providing students with opportunities for leadership and community service both on and off campus.
We wish to extend to your our warmest welcome to American Academy Casablanca. If you have questions about our school community, please do not hesitate to contact me. I would love to sip a cup of Moroccan tea with you and discuss how you can be part of the AAC family.
